Core

Install edu-sdk when you only need generation:

pnpm add edu-sdk

model is a string model ID or an AI SDK LanguageModel instance. Your app must configure an AI SDK provider (and API keys) so generation can run. See Models & providers.

model: "google/gemini-3.6-flash"
// or: openai("gpt-4.1-mini")

React

Install @edu-sdk/react when you need UI. It already depends on edu-sdk. React 18 or later is required.

pnpm add @edu-sdk/react

Import the default stylesheet once, typically in your root layout:

import "@edu-sdk/react/styles.css";
